Another upset wasn't in the cards for the Mukwonago baseball team. Against top-seeded Marquette on July 13, MHS fell in five innings, 11-1.

Marquette led 5-1 after two innings and didn't let up from there. Mukwonago committed five errors in the game.

Nathan Jendusa went 2 for 2. Sean Stokhaug and Logan Goetz added one hit each.

Ben Graham drove in Mukwonago's lone run and walked twice. Scott Johnson also walked twice.

Marquette ultimately advanced to the state tournament with two wins in the sectional July 17. Mukwonago, which staged a modest upset over Wauwatosa West in the opening round of the tourney, finished 11-11.
