At the West Bend West Invite on Jan. 7, the Oconomowoc gymnastics team finished eighth with a score of 111.75. Erinn Fagan placed 14th in the all-around with a 32.0. Fagan took 11th on vault (8.25), 14th on bars (8.0), 16th on floor (8.2) and 19th on beam (7.55).

Danielle Hoeffel was 20th in the all-around (25.525). On vault, Hailey Weber came in tied for 26th (7.6). Nicole Jahr and Emma White tied for 34th in the event with a score of 7.35. Hoeffel placed 40th with a 6.25.

On beam, Carli Christman was 26th (7.075), Hoeffel finished 32nd (6.275), Weber took 34th (5.95) and Michelle Kolb came in 38th (5.3). On bars, Christman took 29th (6.575), Hoeffel was 33rd (6.275), Kolb placed 37th (4.575) and Vivienne Schlomer finished 39th (4.025).

On floor, Weber was 28th (7.325), Hoeffel placed 36th (6.725), Jahr finished 37th (6.675) and Cassidy Comny came in 40th (6.55).

The junior varsity team was fifth out of eight teams with an 83.325. Alaina Nowak finished fifth in the all-around (22.95), and Alisha Kehl was seventh (19.675).

"For many of our girls this was their first competition ever and they all stepped up and did a great job," Oconomowoc coach Jon Kopps said.

Oconomowoc's Jan. 10 meet in Waupun was postponed due to weather.
