The boys of summer now open in March, but Milwaukee baseball fans have had to wait an extra 24 hours for Christmas in spring to begin.

With Thursday's scheduled opening-day game postponed because of weather, the Milwaukee Brewers will instead start the season Friday against the New York Mets at Citi Field.
