The Harrisons: Five NFL figures who flopped in Week 14

The Harrisons for NFL Week 14.

In honor of Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison's bold stance, our weekly award for players and coaches in the NFL for people who didn't even deserve a participation trophy. For Week 14:

Chandler Catanzaro, Cardinals

Every point counts, especially when a team is on the road. So missing an extra point, having another one blocked and returned for two points, and coming up just short on a 41-yard field goal attempt is a lot of points left on the field. The difference between winning and losing in this case. Good luck dealing with coach Bruce Arians on this one.

Phillip Dorsett, Colts

There was plenty of blame to go around for the Colts’ abysmal showing in the AFC South showdown against the Texans. But Dorsett is a perfect example of what ails this team: A first-round pick, he should be someone the Colts can trust. Nothing breaks that trust like the three dropped passes he had on Sunday.

Harry Douglas, Titans

We know a cheap shot when we see it, and him going low to block Chris Harris Jr. was exactly that. The game is dangerous enough without that stuff. Knock it off.

Don't expect NFL to discipline Harry Douglas for low shot on Chris Harris Jr.

Jeff Triplette, referee

Every once in a while an official finds his way here. Triplette does because he called a hands-to-the-face penalty against the Lions. It was clearly a Bears defender who committed the foul. Not the first “obvious” call he has blown and we’re sure it won’t be the last.

Russell Wilson, Seahawks

A rare appearance here. But if they are going to run the offense through him, five interceptions is, well, five too many. Big road game. Missed receivers. Those five picks. On this day, he made  Seahawks fans miss Marshawn Lynch even more.
